Building a Deeply Integrated O2O E-commerce Platform – MM Mega Market

A leading Vietnamese retail system (MM Mega Market) with an omnichannel strategy faced an unprecedented challenge during the 2021 pandemic. There was an urgent, historical need to build and launch a comprehensive online sales website for 21 nationwide centers within just 30 days.

Solution

Digityze Asia accepted the urgent mandate and successfully deployed the "Click & Get" e-commerce system . The solution focused on a true Online-to-Offline (O2O) experience.

It allows customers to synchronize their account information and loyalty points directly on the website while automatically detecting the nearest of 21 centers to display accurate, region-specific products and promotions.

 

To handle the complexity of the retail sector, the platform was built to efficiently manage millions of product SKUs. A sophisticated promotion management module was developed, enabling the creation and monitoring of multi-scenario campaigns (such as DNR programs).

 

However, the core value lies in integration and automation. The system established a direct connection channel to update product and pricing information from the enterprise’s “gold data” system in real-time. This ensures data consistency and completely eliminates errors and delays from manual entry. This platform was not a silo; it was deeply integrated into the existing tech ecosystem, including Loyalty, Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platform (CDP), and Point of Sale (POS) systems.

This solution successfully met the historical challenge of launching a full-scale online channel in just 30 days .

By fully automating the entire process—from product and promotion management to order fulfillment—and synchronizing data in real-time, it strengthened the seamless omnichannel experience and created a robust B2C e-commerce foundation ready for growth.
