Background
Gonsa Joint Stock Company is a pioneer in the “Pharmaceutical Services” model, specializing in providing GSP/GDP standard distribution solutions for a network of over 30,000 pharmacies, clinics, and hospitals nationwide. During its digital transformation and expansion of the e-commerce ecosystem, Gonsa faced significant challenges regarding system performance: slow website access speeds, frequent API data processing bottlenecks, and escalating cloud infrastructure costs with suboptimal efficiency. The enterprise required a technology partner to conduct a comprehensive audit, re-plan the infrastructure, and upgrade the software architecture to securely and stably operate a complex O2O (Online-to-Offline) model.
Solution
Digityze Asia – a provider of digital platform production and integration services – approached Gonsa’s challenge through an in-depth Audit process. We designed and deployed a comprehensive O2O B2B2C Commerce Solution, thoroughly resolving technical bottlenecks and expanding multi-channel operational capabilities:
- Omni-channel Ecosystem & GS68 Chain POS: Established a seamless operational flow connecting the E-commerce Website with the physical point-of-sale network. A specialized POS system for the GS68 pharmacy chain was deployed to synchronize inventory, orders, and customer information in real-time, ensuring a unified O2O experience from online ordering to offline fulfillment.

- CDP & Marketing Automation Integration: To optimize customer data usage, Digityze Asia implemented a Customer Data Platform (CDP) combined with Marketing Automation tools. This integration allows Gonsa to centralize and analyze user behavior data, thereby automating personalized marketing campaigns and timely customer care, increasing conversion rates and loyalty.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Performance Restructuring: Migrated the system to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) integrated with CloudFlare to leverage CDN for global page load acceleration and advanced security (WAF, Anti-DDoS). Simultaneously, API source code was refactored to an asynchronous processing mechanism, integrating ElasticSearch and Redis Cache, which thoroughly resolved latency issues when searching through thousands of pharmaceutical categories.
The restructuring project enabled Gonsa to successfully solve the dual problem of cost and performance. Infrastructure costs were significantly reduced through resource optimization, while system response speed and the dealer ordering experience were markedly improved. The new technology platform not only fixed operational issues but also established a solid digital framework, ready to support the enterprise’s modern pharmaceutical service expansion strategy in the future.
